U13-U17 players at FC Northwest will receive the opportunity to train together as part of our FC Northwest Prep Camp.
The purpose of this camp is to bring together a select group of premier-level players for weekly training sessions, incorporating high-level curriculum provided by the Celtic FC Soccer Academy.
These players will train together and will be considered for the opportunity to attend Celtic FC for the 2025 One Season. (The two players selected for 2024 have already been announced.)
Selections for this camp will be updated month-to-month based on performance in training sessions and league matches.
In addition, FC Northwest is building a database of university and college contacts across Canada at the U-Sports and CCAA levels. This initiative will provide all U13-U17 players the opportunity to develop an athletic profile/resume and pursue their soccer goals after completing their youth careers at FC Northwest.
We would like to congratulate Matvii Shokarev (U17 Boys) and Quinn Lavoie (U14 Girls) on being selected as FC Northwest’s two representatives who will travel to Glasgow, Scotland later this year for the Celtic FC Player Experience.
They will have the opportunity to train with the Celtic FC Academy, attend Celtic FC Men’s and Women’s matches, and learn about the academy environment throughout their week in Scotland.
